12 February 2018 Honduras updates 2018 income tax brackets for individuals Honduras updated the income tax brackets applicable to individuals for tax year 2018 (i.e., from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018) under Agreement SAR–009–2018 issued by the Tax Authorities. The updated income tax brackets reflect changes to the Honduran consumer price index. The updated brackets, published in the Official Gazette on 12 January 2018, are as follows: Employment and self-employed income1 Annual taxable income (Honduran lempiras (L.)) | Tax rate | From (L.) 0.01 up to L.152,557.15 (approx. US$6,432) | 0% | From L.152,557.16 up to L.232,622.61 (approx. US$9,808) | 15% | From L.232,622.62 up to L.540,982.82 (approx. US$22,809) | 20% | Over L.540.982,83 | 25% | 1.
