07 August 2018 Kenya Revenue Authority postpones placement of excise stamps on certain goods and will hold public consultations The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), through a public notice issued on 31 July 2018, has postponed the implementation the Excisable Goods Management System (EGMS) on bottled water and juice which had been scheduled to commence on 1 August 2018. The decision was made to allow for consultations with the various stakeholders.1 At this stage, no date has been set for its implementation.
