08 November 2018 Tanzania issues request for foreign nationals to update their residential information by 30 November 2018 On 1 November 2018, Tanzania’s Immigration Services Department issued a press release reminding foreign nationals residing in Tanzania on residence permits, dependant passes and exemption certificates who have not yet reported, submitted and/or updated their residential information (addresses) to do so within 30 days from the date of the announcement, i.e., by 30 November 2018. The update request is a normal operation for the Immigration Department to verify the status of foreign nationals residing in the country in terms of validity of their permits and other related information. Foreign nationals should report their residential location at the nearest immigration department office where they reside. Note: The process does not cover foreign nationals who have already updated their residential details with the Immigration Department.
