Thursday, 6 February | How are indirect taxes impacting digital businesses? (10 am ET)

This EY webcast is part of a series aimed at helping your business navigate the changing tax landscape. It will provide up-to-date information and insights about the digital service taxes (DSTs) that have been either introduced or proposed around the world, including in a number of European Union (EU) Member States. The focus of discussion will be on the implementation in France, the legislative landscape, the business models and types of income that are likely to be impacted, as well as the operational impact of DST on businesses in a range of industry sectors.

The webcast also touches on the value-added tax (VAT) measures being introduced in the EU and around the world to target digital services and online marketplaces. Finally, we will consider the current sales and use tax landscape in the United States following recent legislative change. Join our panel of EY Indirect Tax professionals for a discussion of the following topics:

  • Overview of DST
  • Business models impacted by DST
  • Global DST updates
  • DST in France
  • DST compliance requirements
  • EU e-commerce VAT changes
