Australia provides flexible work visa options to support economic recovery

A large number of temporary visa holders in Australia are now eligible for a streamlined subclass 408 “Pandemic visa” to work in Australia for six to 12 months. However, with a Federal election expected to be announced shortly important substantial reforms which will have a lasting impact, such as amending skilled occupation lists, have been deferred.
