28 December 2022 China Mainland further relaxes COVID-19-related travel restrictions Effective 8 January 2023, individuals seeking to enter China Mainland will no longer be required to get tested for COVID-19 or isolate upon arrival. However, inbound travelers will still be required to take a nucleic acid COVID-19 test no more than 48 hours prior to travel, and test negative, to be admitted.
