Cyprus implements amendments to laws regarding citizenship by naturalization

In early June 2024, Cyprus’ Ministry of Interior implemented further amendments to its laws governing the acquisition of citizenship by naturalization. On 16 May 2024, Cyprus’ House of Representatives approved further amendments to the Civil Registry Law, that impact previous provisions relating to the acquisition of citizenship by naturalization.
