Austria announces eligible Ukrainian nationals and residents will soon be able to switch to Red-White-Red Plus Cards

On 6 June 2024, Austria’s governing parties passed a bill to enable eligible Ukrainian nationals and residents to switch to a Red-White-Red Plus Card. The bill will go into effect on 1 October 2024. The new bill will apply to Ukrainian nationals and residents who meet certain requirements as well as their qualifying dependents.
