Israel increases salary requirements for certain foreign workers and processing fees for B-1 Visa applications

Effective 1 January 2025, Israel increased both the monthly wage threshold for foreign experts who seek to work in the country for more than three months and the government processing fees for B-1 Visa applications. The salary requirements for foreign employees are linked to the average monthly salary in Israel, which increased on 1 January 2025 to ILS 13,153 or approx. USD 3,580 (up from ILS 12,379 or approx. USD 3,370 in 2024). The requirements are subject to periodic adjustments at the discretion of the immigration authorities.
