Gabon launches digital e-Visa platform for short-term visa applications

In December 2025, Gabon introduced a digital e-Visa system. All processes related to short-term visas, including application submission and payment, may now be completed online through the e-Visa system. The new e-Visa system allows eligible individuals to submit applications electronically for all short-term visa categories (e.g., business, tourism, family visits). It eliminates the need for paper-based applications and in-person payments. The rollout of the e-Visa system is in line with Gabon's strategy to modernize immigration processes and align with international standards.
