Wednesday, April 1 | Beyond IEEPA: What the current trade and tariff landscape means for your business (11 am ET)

The US Supreme Court recently held that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not authorize President Trump to impose tariffs. However, the ability for companies to obtain refunds on amounts collected under IEEPA is uncertain and the President has moved to use other existing authorities which may raise additional legal challenges. There have also been several new tariff related proposals in Congress that could impact global supply chain structures.

This joint webcast with EY and DLA Piper will discuss the Supreme Court decision, the actions companies can take to protect refund positions, the new tariff actions the President has taken and the legal issues raised, the ongoing trade investigations and the operational strategies global businesses can consider to mitigate the impacts of the ongoing geopolitical and trade volatility.
