12 May 2026 Brazil announces visa-free entry for nationals of the Chinese Mainland Effective 11 May 2026, nationals of the Chinese Mainland may enter Brazil without a visa for business visits, tourism, participation in artistic and sports activities, or transit through the country. The measure reflects diplomatic reciprocity, following the Chinese Mainland's visa-free policy for the Brazilian citizens since June 2025. This policy will remain in effect until 31 December 2026. The visa-free entry applies to nationals of the Chinese Mainland who will enter Brazil for stays up to 30 days without the possibility of extension.
