Saudi Arabia raises Saudization rate for certain project management roles

On 13 August 2026, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), in partnership with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, announced an increase in the Saudization rate for certain project management professions in the private sector to 70%, effective 14 February 2027. The decision aims to enhance national workforce participation, support Saudi talent development and advance the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. To facilitate compliance, the MHRSD has published the procedural guide for the decision on its website, outlining the targeted professions, compliance requirements and implementation mechanisms.
